Techno-Societal 2020: 3rd International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Societal Applications (Proceedings will be Published in SPRINGER Publications) on 14-15 December 2020
Respected Sir/Madam,
In the year 2011, after signing the MoU with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai fortechno-societal activities, we are conducting various activities viz. a) Establishment of Rural Human and Resource Development facility for deployment of BARC technologies and development of new technologies to benefit the surrounding rural communities. b) ICT Enabled School Education for connecting five schools to NKN high speed (1-GBPS) internet connectivity for school contents delivery. c) Theme Meeting to Discuss Technologies in Service of Rural India with the help of BARC where in last two meetings more than 100 faculty members participated from more than 40 Institutes of Maharashtra and these faculty members were guided by professors and researchers from IITs, IISc, BARC etc. d) Agro-Challenge where students from Engineering Institutes are challenged to develop technologies for societalapplications where every year more than 70 entries are reported from all over Maharashtra.
To encourage the Scientific community for developing technologies useful for Society with our series of events under the theme of “Techno-Societal”. After arranging five Techno-Societal theme meetings, we had arranged
the Techno-Societal 2016 and Techno-Societal 2018: International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Societal Applications at our Institute. All the events were greatly supported by various renowned scientists like PadmaVibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe and Chief Designer of India's first Light Combat Aircraft Padmashri Dr. Kota Harinarayan.
This year on 14th and 15th December, we have decided to Techno-Societal 2020: 3rd International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Societal Applications. The Proceedings of this conference will be Published in SPRINGER Publications. Each publication will have a separate DOI number which is counted as a reputed publication by accreditation bodies.
This conference offers a multidisciplinary platform for researchers from a broad range of disciplines of Science, Engineering and Technology for reporting innovations at different levels. The key motivation for developing these technologies should be to bring change in the society. These technologies may be for betterment of differently abled people, Environment friendly, Livelihood, Rural Employment, Agricultural, Healthcare, Energy, Transport, Sanitation, water, Education, etc. Technology development should have a holistic approach by considering various issues such as simplified process, employment generation, environmental friendly, deployment process, propagation approach and business models for sustenance.
Patrons of the Conference are, the great Indian Scientist PadmaVibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar and Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe.
Sir, through this conference, we expect to encourage researchers to participate in societaldevelopment activity through Science, Engineering and Technology.
